Words and all the things they mean.

I recently discovered I was vain. Can you imagine me, vain? It dawned on me one day that I am not the most beautiful girl in the world. {scoff} There were girls walking all over this planet that were better looking than me, smarter, funnier, just plain cooler. I realized that I was vain for all the wrong reasons. I was worried that people were looking at me and I was not measuring up to their standards of hotness, like some judgement being passed down upon me. And it occured to me that a) most people are so caught up in themselves that they are really not paying that much attention to me, and even thinking so just shows how far my vanity had grown. and b) that why did I really care. I mean really, why? I am happy with the way that I look, who wouldn't change a few things now and again, yes I've even heard you men lament about your growing bellies and balding heads. So it's not just us women. But overall I am happy, and yes still vain. But my vanity is all mine, no one else gets to define it for me.

I started this blogging so I wouldn't have to send group emails anymore, and when I set it up I stumbled across this website http://www.postsecret.blogspot.com/. I think it's pretty groovy, and I encourage you all to check it out. Anyways that's my 2 cents for now, thanks for coming.

P.S. My amazing and awesome son Ashton tested, on Friday, for his new belt in Tae Kwon Do. Yes, you can congratulate him he is now a yellow belt and would be more than happy to show you the boards he broke to get there.

So I decided to do it, why not every great while I have something worth while to say. This way you all can choose if you want to hear me say it.

Today my ramblings shall be about The Libertine, has any one seen this movie, let me just say if Johnny Depp wasn't hot before, I would be melting right now. The movie in my professional opinion was amazing, he was great in it. Chad and I usually watch movies with the subtitles on, I can't say if this would help you to watch the movie or not, but I think it was useful in this movie. John Malkovich and Samantha Morton are in it as well, her character was very well played. In the end I have to say Johnny Depp, I like you, I like you alot.
